Marc Ausman is Electra’s Chief Product Officer with 25 years of experience bringing aerospace and technology products from an early idea phase though to market launch and ongoing support. His focus on bringing the voice of the customer and the market to the program is critical to ensuring that Electra.aero develops successful products and services.
Most recently Marc served as CEO and co-founder of Airflow.aero, an aerospace company that was acquired by Electra.aero. Earlier, he served as Chief Strategist for the Airbus Vahana urban air mobility program, and before that was the President and co-founder of Vertical Power where he introduced digital systems products to replace older mechanical technology in small aircraft and authored or co-authored eight utility patents. At Eclipse Aviation, he was the Director of Product Management where he develop the industry's first comprehensive customer service and support program.
Marc served with the US Navy as a Naval Aviator and holds a commercial pilot certificate with multiengine and instrument ratings. Marc earned a BS at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
