Rinaldo Ramos de Araújo is Vice President of In-Service Operations at Electra, where he leads the global In-Service Operation and services strategy to ensure a successful Entry Into Service (EIS), high fleet availability, and optimized life-cycle cost performance for the EL9 Ultra Short aircraft. He is responsible for product support strategy, Direct Maintenance Cost (DMC) modeling, maintenance planning, reliability targets, and the full aftermarket services portfolio.
Rinaldo brings more than 35 years of aerospace leadership across OEM operations, Prior to Electra, he led worldwide product support at Heart Aerospace, defining support strategy for hybrid-electric aircraft operations, including high-voltage battery charging processes, maintainability requirements, and competitive operating cost targets. He also held senior leadership roles at Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation and Calidus Aerospace, overseeing Customer Support and EIS readiness. Earlier, he spent more than three decades at Embraer, progressing from engineer to director-level leadership, supporting 16 aircraft Entry-Into-Service campaigns, building global MRO and service networks, and leading 24/7 AOG and customer support operations serving airlines in over 65 countries.
He holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management focused on aviation support services, an MBA in Business Management from INPG Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from UNIVAP.
