Chris Courtin is the Lead Engineer of Flight Physics at Electra.aero and a PhD candidate at MIT, where his research focuses on how distributed electric propulsion enables the development of super-short takeoff and landing aircraft. His specific focus is on blown lift aerodynamics, vehicle configuration and flight controls. Before coming to Electra and MIT, he was a research engineer at Aurora Flight Sciences.
